Indonesia tanah airku : Learning about our country

This week we learnt about the land where we live in: Indonesia. We took a look at island around Indonesia as well as our culture. We talked about wayang, gamelan, kebaya and all things related to our country.
For the games we had toss the cans which is very popular among children. We also learnt Bamboo Geba, a traditional dance using bamboo. On science, we learnt about food colors that're used on Indonesian traditional food, we even tried those food! Yummy!
For practical life, we use mortar and pestle and cooked tempe.
We love learning about our beloved Indonesia!
This weekend we also had Kidea annual championship and our class got 1st runner up for choir competition. Overall we won 9 trophies.
